Practice Policies

Fees

Fees are $145/ hour for an individual session and $165/hour for a couples session.

I do not accept insurance coverage but can provide a super bill that can be submitted for potential out-of- network insurance reimbursement.

I am in-network with Lyra and Spring Health EAP benefits and also provide free couples and individual therapy for active duty military and veterans through Headstrong. Click here for more info.

ALL ARE WELCOME

I work to provide a safe space that is inclusive and accessible. All are welcome, including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and all abilities/disabilities. If income is holding you back from help, please ask about sliding scale services.

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Privacy

Issues discussed in therapy are confidential with the exception of a few situations. State law requires the reporting of child abuse, elder abuse, and threats to harm of self or others.

All mental health providers are required to take whatever steps necessary to prevent a threatened suicide. If consultation with another professional is needed, this can only be done with your written consent.

Cancellation

Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not attend your appointment or cancel after the 24-hour window has elapsed, you will be charged the full session rate.
